Trees Featuring Red and Purple Leaves

Placing trees of these colors requires great care, yet their colors blended into autumn’s colorful array can be both effective and beautiful. Since they do not blend seamlessly with normal green hues when used in large quantities, they should only be utilized sparingly at spots where their impactful colors will draw the eye.

Some leaves have vibrant hues when their leaves first emerge, but these fade as time progresses, becoming darker as summer passes by. Others, not included here, become normal green when their leaves open up.
