Enhancing Plant Health through Climate Control

Ventilation Install a ventilation system into your greenhouse to automatically protect its plants from heat build-up, eliminating the need to open and close vents daily in an attempt to outwit Mother Nature! Let the thermostatically controlled system do all the hard work! The thermostat controls your system at the temperature you select, then the fan expels hot air while fresh, cool air is drawn in through shutters. A fan speed control enables you to customize airflow according to season; and motorized shutters wide open when on but hold closed when off. Select one of our ventilation systems or build your own from components; just be aware that fan systems alone cannot completely cool greenhouses; shading may be needed too, along with additional cooling from misting systems or evaporative cooling methods. Caution: Fan systems alone cannot completely cool greenhouses – shading is also required – additional cooling options such as misting or evaporative cooling via misting/evaporative cooling methods or misting systems/evaporative cooling technologies can add another level of cool. Caution: While fan systems alone cannot fully cool greenhouses to an acceptable level a fan system alone cannot fully cool your greenhouse fully when shading is necessary and extra cooling could come via misting systems/evaporative cooling methods or misting/evaporative cooling technologies which could add another level of cooling potential when misting/evaporative systems/evaporative cooling may add another source e.g. misting/evaporative systems/evaporative cooling may provide further options &/evaporative systems can offer additional cooling; alternatively you might require shading as additional cooling may provide extra cooling through misting systems/evaporative systems may add another option could possibly offer additional cooling from misting/ evaporative systems/evaporative systems/evaporative systems may use misting systems or even be added into use/ additional cooling is evaporative may provide added cooling systems provide further boost evaporative might add-add further or more cooling option might misting systems or misting systems/ etc; these could use misting systems might provide misting systems could enhance cooling capabilities/or additional misting systems or additional cooling from misting systems or additional misting systems or misting systems/ add/ increase cooling capability could use or additional misting systems/ evaporative systems may vapors or misting systems/ evaporizer systems etc may provide misting systems can add via misting/ evaporative systems or possibly add- or additional cooling options with misting systems/ evaporizing systems/or additional cooling capability/ evaporizer systems used/ evaporizer systems used evaporization systems/ evaporiser systems/ evapor evaporative/ evaporizing systems/ e e/ e e/etc… evaporizing/ evaporization system/ e vaporized. misting systems as additional cooling for further add more cooling via misting/ evaporization evaporizing misting misting misting or misting/ vaporized/ evaporiser/…etc….etc… etc…etc… etc…etc (more cooling). etc… evaporizers etc… etc evaporisering systems etc…..etc…etc etc…..etc etc… etc…etc… etc… etc….etc…. etc…etc…etc….etc….. etc…..etc! etc….etc (or more cooling can use such/invol. etc etc evaporized (add other forms as required or alternative (use)..e/ors maybe use misters, misters for added cooling with misting/ /…s etc)…….etc… etc for other d). additional cooling with misting or even misting/etc…!) for additional cooling such systems etc…). *…….) misting systems etc). Shading
Install shading to provide protection to the greenhouse or sunroom between 9 am and 5 pm. In case of severe western exposure, additional shading may be required up until 7 p.m. The amount of shading necessary will depend on factors like climate, greenhouse design and plant light requirements – more isn’t always better! Use only what’s necessary as excessive shade could hinder plant growth or prompt them to reach out for more light sources.

Ventilation and shading will protect a greenhouse from overheating, but the key factor for maintaining a comfortable temperature inside it lies with misting. Evaporating water absorbs heat as it transitions from liquid form to gaseous form – good air circulation from fans increases this process, too. The amount of misting moisture required depends heavily upon ventilation/shading provided as well as local climate factors as well as daily weather fluctuations.
